The official announcement of Assassin’s Creed about Japan took place

The game received a new subtitle Shadows instead of the old Codename Red.

Ubisoft has officially announced Assassin’s Creed Shadows, a new game in the assassin franchise. The presentation trailer showed the two main characters of the title – samurai Yasuke and shinobi Naoe. The events of the game will take place in Japan in 1579. The developers promised a large open world, a system of dynamic changes in weather and seasons, as well as interesting gameplay mechanics, for example, the stealth mechanics of hiding in the shadows.

Assassin’s Creed Shadows will be available in three editions. The regular version of the game will cost $70, the Gold edition with a season pass and early access will cost $110, and the Ultimate version with various bonuses will cost $130. The title will be released on November 15 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series platforms.
