A fan moved S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Mobile on PC

The game is available for free.

Modder alex1197 recreated the famous game based on the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. universe, which was released on the Java platform. The project is called Picnic in the Oblivion (an analogy to the book “Roadside Picnic” by the Strugatsky brothers, on which the game franchise was partially created). The enthusiast retained all the existing game mechanics, plot, and characters.

Work on the project has been going on since 2016. The Godot 4 engine was used to recreate the game. The game weighs 100 MB and can be downloaded for free.

The original first-person rail shooter S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Mobile was released in 2007. It could be played on phones running on the Java platform. The addon for Shadow of Chernobyl was generally liked by players and critics for its well-conveyed atmosphere.
