The developer of the original Fallout praised the series and defended it from critics

The creator of the original two Fallout games, Tim Kane, released a video in which he admitted that he liked the Amazon series based on his brainchild. He noted that each of the three main characters perfectly personifies the game’s karma system. The author also justified various inconsistencies regarding the original games.

Amazon Prime Video has renewed the series Fallout for a second season.
