Telegram will pay channel owners

According to Pavel Durov, payments will begin next month. The application is ready to share half of the income from the advertising business in the messenger.

According to information from the same Durov, Telegram channels receive 1 trillion views every month, but only 10% of this number is monetized through Telegram Ads. In March, the Telegram Ad Platform will open, which will be available to all advertisers in almost a hundred new countries. Channel owners will be able to earn half of Telegram’s income from advertising in channels.

Income will be credited using the TON blockchain in the Toncoin cryptocurrency. Earnings can be cashed out through Toncoin or invested in promoting and improving channels.
