Some details have emerged regarding the remakes of the first two parts of Max Payne

The studio spoke about the budget and production stage of the project.

The Finnish company Remedy, which released two parts of the original shooters and is now working on their remakes, told investors in a report about the details of the development. Over the past year, the studio has made significant progress in this matter, but the project is still at the preliminary stage of creation. Full work will begin in the 1st half of 2024.

Remakes of the first part and the sequel will be released in one collection called Max Payne 1 & 2. The total development budget will be comparable to the budget of the recently released horror Alan Wake 2 of €70 million, which included production costs (€50 million) and marketing promotion.

The development of Max Payne 1&2 Remake is fully sponsored by Rockstar Games, which was the publisher of the originals. Remedy notes that an impressive budget will allow shooters to realize their potential and meet modern standards. And quality work will require a lot of effort and time.
