Scorpion will be back in Mortal Kombat 2

The actor has already confirmed the return of the character who appeared in the first part.

Hiroyuki Sanada, who played the role of Scorpion in the action movie Mortal Kombat, said in an interview that his character will appear in the sequel. In the first part, the character is a distant relative of Cole Young, a new hero for the franchise, played by Lewis Tan.

Filming for the sequel has already concluded, but the film’s release date has not yet been announced.
