Possible characteristics of future folding smartphones from Xiaomi have become known

The Chinese brand may be preparing two such devices.

According to insider data from the Digital Chat Station source, these will be Mix Flip and Mix Fold 4 smartphones. They will have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset from Qualcomm. Also, the main 50-megapixel camera sensor will be equipped with optical stabilization. The Mix Flip will also receive a telephoto lens with 2x zoom and an auxiliary OmniVision OV60A sensor.

In turn, Mix Fold 4 will receive a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 10 MP five-time telephoto lens. In addition, the device will support wireless charging and will be protected from moisture, but it is unclear to what standard.

Both smartphones should be released in the 3rd quarter of 2024.
