GTA 5 has sold 205 million copies

This became clear from Take-Two Interactive’s financial report.

In the published document for the 2nd quarter of the 2025 financial year from T2, it became known that GTA 5 was purchased 205 million times. This is almost half of the sales of all games in the franchise, which is 435 million.

GTA 5 is not going to be left alone. Soon the PC version of the game will receive an update with content and technical improvements that are already in the versions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
