Dual Fusion Introduced: A Laptop That Transforms Into A Portable Gaming Console In Seconds

Taiwanese company Wistron has unveiled a conceptual Dual Fusion device that can literally change its shape. In normal mode, it is a standard laptop, but once you detach the bottom of the case and unfold the screen, it turns into a portable gaming console.

The developers were inspired by the idea of ​​hybrid devices, creating a gadget that combines a working tool and a gaming platform. An important detail: the removable gamepad with a display does not have its own processor, but uses the power of the main laptop. At the same time, when the module is assembled, its buttons are hidden, turning the case into an aesthetically smooth panel.

For its innovative concept, Dual Fusion has already received the IF Design Award 2025, but for now the device remains only a prototype. Wistron says that serial production will begin only if an investor is found who is ready to bring the device to market.
