Warner Bros. to Continue Making Batman Games

The studio’s gaming division will develop its franchises despite the failures of the fighting game MultiVersus and the superhero action movie Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.

The head of Warner Bros. Discovery, David Zaslav, spoke about the company’s plans for its gaming projects. According to him, the studio will develop such series as Mortal Kombat, Hogwarts Legacy, Game of Thrones and games based on DC comics, including Batman. The company will not be scattered across several dozen titles, but will try to focus on several projects.

It should be noted that the DC brand is by no means a guarantee of success, as the same Suicide Squad showed. It is quite possible that in the future, Warner Bros. will release a game in the Batman: Arkham franchise. The VR game Batman: Arkham Shadow was recently released, which was highly praised by the press.
