Xbox Exclusive Indiana Jones and the Great Circle Now Available on PlayStation 5

Microsoft continues to expand the boundaries of its gaming ecosystem by releasing former Xbox exclusives on other gaming platforms. The latest step in this strategy was the release of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle for PS5.

The critically acclaimed but under-received action adventure from MachineGames is now available for purchase on the PlayStation Store. Deluxe Edition owners got access to the game a few days early and have already started playing.

Exact sales data on PS5 is still unknown, but the very fact of the game’s release on Sony’s console confirms the trend towards abandoning strict exclusivity in the industry.

The Indiana Jones adventure video game was originally released in December 2024 on PC and Xbox Series X|S. Despite high press reviews, online activity on Steam remained modest, likely due to the project’s availability on Xbox Game Pass. PlayStation owners were not offered such a subscription, so the game is only sold at full price.
