Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine Remaster Disappoints Players With Low Quality

The recently released remaster of the classic game Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine, called Master Crafted Edition, has caused a wave of disappointment among fans of the series. Unlike the successful Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2, the remaster of the original part failed to interest the audience – a day after the release, the number of reviews on Steam barely exceeded 40, and the overall rating fell to 41%.

Critics and players unanimously note that the remaster was made without due attention to detail. The developers limited themselves to updating the textures, leaving numerous problems of the original without fixing, including technical flaws and outdated gameplay. Particular dissatisfaction was caused by changes in the interface, which many considered a step backwards. At a price of $ 40, the project looks unreasonably expensive, given the minimal amount of improvements.

Low interest in the Master Crafted Edition and criticism from the community call into question the feasibility of this remaster. Fans of the franchise were expecting a more thorough approach to updating the iconic game, but instead they got a superficial remaster that clearly doesn’t meet modern quality standards.
