Vivat Slovakia’s ‘Post-Soviet GTA’ Leaves Early Access With Major Update

The Slovak project inspired by the GTA franchise has received a full release on PC after a year in Steam Early Access. Update 1.0 added the second half of the story with voice acting in Slovak and English, increased the vehicle fleet to 70 units, introduced two new radio stations, a streamer mode and support for GeForce NOW.

The game takes place in the open world of post-communist Slovakia in the 1990s, where the player can freely move, complete missions and escape from the police. Despite 70% positive reviews on Steam, the project has been criticized for optimization issues. The developers promise to continue support, announcing the first free update for the coming months.
