Verdansk Returns to Call of Duty: Warzone — First Teaser Revealed

Activision has released a teaser for the third season of the shooter, confirming the long-awaited return of the famous location. In the video, the developers emphasized nostalgia, calling the iconic map “a place of unforgettable memories.”

The return will take place on April 3. Initially, the start of the season was scheduled for March 20, but the studio decided to postpone it in order to improve the quality of the final update.

Verdansk disappeared from Warzone in December 2021, when the battle royale was integrated with Call of Duty: Vanguard. Then it was replaced by Caldera, but the new map was harshly criticized by players.

According to rumors, the success of Verdansk can determine the future of Warzone. Insiders claim that if the iconic location does not return the audience’s interest, Activision may abandon the development of Warzone 3.
