Valorant Mobile Still in Development — Release Will Start in China

After a long silence, Riot Games confirmed that work on the mobile version of Valorant is ongoing. The title’s production has been entrusted to Lightspeed Studios, and the debut region for the launch will be China. The company noted that it wants to make the game available to the widest possible audience, but expansion to other markets will happen later.

Valorant Mobile was announced back in 2021, but then there was almost no information about the project. In 2022, 9 minutes of gameplay leaked online, demonstrating the adaptation of the shooter for mobile devices. However, the exact release dates have not yet been disclosed.

Riot Games continues to develop the franchise, and the mobile version should be an important step in expanding the gaming ecosystem. It is expected that after testing in the Middle Kingdom, the project will be released in other regions, but there are no specific dates yet.
