Users liked the debut gameplay of the new game from the creators of Mass Effect

Archetype Entertainment has released a short gameplay teaser for its sci-fi RPG Exodus, announced a year ago. The new video is only 30 seconds long, but this time was enough for viewers to notice the game’s strong similarities with Mass Effect. The reason for this impression is obvious: former BioWare employees are working on the project, including Drew Karpyshyn, the screenwriter of the first two parts of the cult series.

The similarities with Mass Effect are evident not only in the visual style, but also in the musical accompaniment, which caused nostalgic emotions among fans. Despite the obvious parallels, viewers took these references with enthusiasm, noting in the comments that Exodus looks like a spiritual successor to their favorite space saga. Gamers expressed delight and hope that the new product will be able to give them sensations similar to the first parts of Mass Effect.

The premiere of a full gameplay demonstration of Exodus is scheduled for today, December 17. So far, the exact release date of the project remains unknown, but the list of platforms has been confirmed: PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
