Thing and Human Torch Coming to Marvel Rivals on February 21

Developers from NetEase Games have announced a major update for Marvel Rivals, which will be released on February 21. As part of the mid-season patch, two new characters from the Fantastic Four team will appear in the game – Thing and the Human Torch.

Earlier, at the beginning of Season 1, Mister Fantastic and the Invisible Woman debuted in the team shooter, and a new game mode, Doom Match, was added, which is a fight for 8-12 players in the “everyone for themselves” format. Several new maps have also appeared.

Data miners have already found mentions of future characters in the game files, who may join the roster at the beginning of the next seasons. Possible heroes include Gambit, Professor X, Colossus, Rogue and other famous Marvel characters.

Marvel Rivals was released on December 6, 2024 and is available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
