Theatrical version of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II to be screened at Karlovy Vary festival
- AYG -Warhorse Studios will present a cinematic adaptation of its RPG Kingdom Come: Deliverance II at the 59th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival. The project, called Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Cinematic Cut, is a reworked version of the title’s cutscenes, combined into a single narrative.

Warhorse CEO Martin Fryvadlski expressed confidence that the story of Henry, the son of a blacksmith, will be able to interest not only players, but also moviegoers. However, it remains unclear how the creators will manage to maintain the integrity of the plot, given that many key events and character developments occur directly in the gameplay.
The Cinematic Cut will premiere on July 9 as part of the festival, which will run from July 4 to 12. Time will tell whether the project will be able to repeat the success of the original game or will remain an experimental adaptation for a narrow circle of viewers.
