The Witcher IV Cinematic Trailer Revealed at The Game Awards 2024

The ceremony will be remembered for the grand premiere from CD Projekt RED. Viewers were able to see a cinematic trailer that immediately immersed them in the dark and familiar atmosphere of the cult series.

The trailer tells the story of Ciri growing up, who becomes the central figure in the plot. In the trailer, she comes to the aid of a small village, saving its inhabitants from a monster to whom they intended to sacrifice a young girl. The story is imbued with the spirit of moral ambiguity, in the best traditions of The Witcher: the idea that the true monsters are sometimes people themselves comes to the fore. High-quality CGI graphics and a tense atmosphere instantly return you to the world created in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

The developers also revealed the official title of the game – The Witcher IV, which confirms the continuation of the main line of the franchise. Despite this, the release date was not announced, noting only that the project recently entered the active development phase.
