The third part of the cartoon “The Angry Birds Movie” will be released in 2027 – now under the wing of Paramount Pictures

The sequel to the animated franchise has a precise release date — the third film will premiere on January 29, 2027. Unlike the previous parts, Paramount Pictures is now responsible for the release, not Sony, as was previously the case.

The main cast will return to voicing the characters: viewers will once again hear Jason Sudeikis, Josh Gad, and Danny McBride, who previously played roles in the first two films. Emma Myers, who became famous thanks to the series Wednesday, has also joined the team.

The project is being produced by John Cohen, who previously worked on the cartoons Despicable Me and The Angry Birds Movie 2. The director’s chair was taken by John Rice, known for his work on the series Rick and Morty and the same second part of Angry Birds.

The franchise, based on the popular mobile game, is still in demand among viewers. The first two films collectively grossed around $500 million worldwide.
