The long-awaited S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl has been released

After numerous delays, the game has finally been released. The title is already available on PC and Xbox Series X/S with Russian subtitles. PC owners can purchase it through the Steam, GOG and EGS platforms.

The events of the shooter on the Unreal Engine 5 engine unfold in the changed Chernobyl Exclusion Zone after the second disaster in 2006. Gamers will take control of a lone stalker nicknamed Scythian and will explore an impressive open world, where they will encounter mutants, dangerous anomalies, search for artifacts and interact with various factions.

A few hours before the release, the first reviews of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 began to appear online. Critics noted the strong atmosphere, exciting gameplay, living game world, high-quality visuals and sound. However, the project was also criticized for a weak plot, shortcomings in the artificial intelligence of enemies, optimization problems and the presence of bugs.
