The Last of Us TV Series Will Get a Continuation — Season 3 Is Already in Development

A few days before the release of the 2nd season, the series “The Last of Us” was officially renewed for a third. The renewal was announced by HBO and Max streaming, where the sequel starts on April 13.

The renewal was not a surprise: the 2nd season received favorable reviews from critics. On Rotten Tomatoes, the project’s rating reached 92%, and on Metacritic, the show was rated at 83 points out of 100.

In parallel with the success of the show, the gaming franchise is also developing. The PC version of The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered was recently released on Steam and EGS. On the Valve platform, the title collected 88% positive reviews, which indicates high audience interest in the updated release.
