The first patch for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II has been in development for six months, despite its recent release
- AYG -Warhorse Studios is actively working on the first major update for its latest hit, and its preparation has been going on for almost six months. The developers promise a large-scale patch, including more than a thousand fixes.
The question arises: if the update is being created for so long, why was part of it not included in the release version? Apparently, the team had their own reasons for this. In addition to fixes, official tools for creating modifications will be released for the game in the near future. Its release is scheduled for the next two weeks.

The developers managed to create a large AAA project with a budget of only 60 million dollars, which is significantly lower than the standard costs for games of this scale. The reason for such savings is said to be an efficient approach to work and lower development costs in the Czech Republic compared to the USA.
While fans are waiting for official modding tools, enthusiasts have already begun to improve the game on their own. The community, for example, released a hardcore mode before the developers and made changes to the lighting system. Perhaps, in time, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II will become as popular among modders as The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
