The first expansion for Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 may appear as early as May

The community of fans of the hit RPG has been heatedly discussing the possible imminent release of the debut story add-on Brushes with Death. Players’ interest was fueled by a mysterious comment from Warhorse Studios PR manager Tobias Stolz-Zwilling, who, in response to a question about the release date, succinctly answered: “may”.

This ambiguous wording – the English word can mean both “possibly” and an indication of the month “May” – immediately provoked a wave of speculation. Previously, the developers announced plans to release Brushes with Death in the summer of 2025, so if the fans’ interpretation is correct, the add-on with the story of the mysterious artist will appear a month earlier than planned.

In addition to Brushes with Death, the studio is preparing two more story add-ons: Legacy of the Forge in the fall and Mysteria Ecclesia in the winter of 2025. There is no official confirmation of a May release yet – perhaps it was just a joke or a play on words on the part of a Warhorse representative. However, even a hint of an accelerated release of content caused a noticeable stir among fans of the medieval RPG.
