According to information from the famous journalist and insider Jeff Grubb, the updated version of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion will be released in the coming weeks – the release is expected before the end of April, almost immediately after the official announcement of the project.

This information confirms recent rumors previously voiced by the insider NateTheHate and confirmed by journalists from Video Games Chronicle. According to leaks, the Virtuous studio is working on the remake, and the game itself is being created on the Unreal Engine 5.

The remake involves not only a serious improvement in the visual part, but also a reworking of key elements of the gameplay. What platforms exactly the updated Oblivion will be released on is not yet reported, but with a high degree of probability we should expect a release on PC and current consoles.
