The creators of Sifu presented REMATCH — a hybrid of football and action

The announcement of the upcoming game from the Sloclap studio took place at The Game Awards 2024. The project is an unusual combination of a football simulator and an action game.

The title is being developed for PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, as well as Xbox One and Series X/S. Registration for beta tests is already open on the official website, which will allow the first players to evaluate the project before the official release.

REMATCH focuses on cooperative gameplay. Players will have to build a strategy in real time in order to effectively interact with teammates and defeat opponents. Matches are held in a 5 vs. 5 format with a third-person view. The game includes arcade modes and a competitive league, where you can rise to the highest ranks.

The developers also said that they plan to actively support the project. With each new season, fresh game modes, cosmetic and other improvements will be added to diversify the players’ experience.

REMATCH is scheduled for release in summer 2025.
