The animated series about Lara Croft will have a second season

The show is being released on the Netflix streaming service. It is based on the games of the Crystal Dynamics studio.

The second season will introduce a new partner of Lara Croft – Samantha Nishimura. This character first appeared in the 2013 Tomb Raider game. The anime will be developed by the same team, the author of the first season Tasha Huo will be responsible for the script. In an interview, she has already shared her vision of the future of the tomb raider.

“Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft” did not become a significant success for Netflix: the series did not make it to the top lines of the list of the most viewed projects of the service. Critics praised the project, but ordinary viewers do not speak highly of the show.
