Syberia to get remaster with Russian localization in 2025

French publisher Microids, inspired by the successful remake of Amerzone, announced the development of an updated version of the famous quest Syberia. The development is being carried out by Virtuallyz Gaming and Microids Studio Paris, which will preserve the plot of the original by Benoit Sokal, but significantly modernize the visual component.

The project will receive a completely redesigned visual, an improved interface and puzzles adapted to current standards, which will become more intuitive. Particular attention is paid to localization – the game will be completely translated into Russian, including with professional voice acting.

The release of the Syberia remaster will take place in the 4th quarter of this year. The title will appear on the PC, PS5 and Xbox Series platforms, offering both long-time fans of the series and new gamers the opportunity to once again enjoy the atmospheric world of mechanical wonders and mysterious travels of Kate Walker.
