Split Fiction film adaptation already in production

Hollywood continues its wave of live-action adaptations, with Split Fiction now in the spotlight. According to Variety, a film based on the popular co-op action game is already in development.

The project is being developed by Story Kitchen, the same company that previously announced it was working on an adaptation of It Takes Two. However, since then, almost nothing has been heard about the latter, which leaves questions about the speed of such projects.

At the moment, the film based on Split Fiction is in the early stages of production, and the rights holders are looking for a studio to take on the adaptation.

The game has shown impressive results, selling 2 million copies in just a week after its release. Obviously, the initial successes can now serve as a green light for a film adaptation.
