Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 Performance Revealed in Benchmarks
- AYG -A reliable source, Digital Chat Station, has published the first test results of the new flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chip on Weibo. According to the information provided, the device demonstrates a significant increase in performance compared to the current top model, Snapdragon 8 Elite.

In Geekbench 6 testing, the processor showed impressive results: at least 4,000 points in single-threaded mode and over 11,000 points in multi-threaded mode, while its predecessor scored approximately 3,100 and 9,800 points, respectively. Improved performance is due to the use of 2nd generation Oryon cores, an increased GMEM cache of 16 MB, and a fresh Adreno 840 video accelerator.
It is assumed that the debut devices based on Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 will be the Xiaomi 16 and Xiaomi 16 Pro. Later this year, the chip will be available in other flagships, including the OnePlus 15, iQOO 15/15 Pro, Honor Magic 8, realme GT 8 Pro, Nubia Red Magic 11, and Redmi K90. The new processor is expected to power the next generation of high-end Android devices, offering users a noticeable boost in power and energy efficiency.
