Silent Hill 2 Remake Director Would Like to Make a Lord of the Rings Horror Game

Bloober Team, a studio that has established itself as a master of creating quality horror games, is ready to explore new directions, including adapting unexpected franchises. Silent Hill 2 remake game director Mateusz Lenart shared his thoughts on his dream project, expressing his desire to try his hand at creating a horror game based on the Lord of the Rings universe.

The developer said that he had already thought about this concept, but decided not to reveal the details. He noted that the world of The Lord of the Rings was initially built on a clear opposition of good and evil, which can complicate the creation of a dark and frightening atmosphere. Nevertheless, such creative challenges attract him and the Bloober Team team.

The studio does not plan to work on this project yet. After the success of the Silent Hill 2 remake, the team is focused on developing a new original title Cronos: The New Dawn, which is released in 2025.
