Sifu creators release football arcade Rematch with non-standard rules

The developers from the Sloclap studio, known for the hardcore action game Sifu, presented their new work — the football arcade Rematch, released on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Unlike traditional football simulators, the game offers simplified rules: 5 vs. 5 matches are held without offsides, fouls and other restrictions, creating dynamic and spectacular confrontations.

All players start the match in equal conditions, and colorful arenas complement the unusual atmosphere of the project. During the test period, Rematch attracted more than 100 thousand players, and the total number of test participants exceeded a million people. At the time of release, the game received 78% positive reviews on Steam based on more than 4.2 thousand ratings, demonstrating a steady interest in Sloclap’s unconventional approach to the sports genre.
