Samsung Unveils Unusual Triple Folding Phone and Foldable Game Console

At MWC 2025, Samsung demonstrated several innovative devices at once, including a triple vertical clamshell and a flexible portable console. Both concepts look bold and technologically advanced, but are still experimental developments.

The Asymmetric Flip clamshell resembles the Galaxy Z Flip series, but folds in two places at once – the upper and lower parts of the screen bend inward, leaving a small strip of the display open. It is not yet clear whether it will be used to display notifications or other information. Unlike the Infinix concept, where the display is completely closed, Samsung leaves an open area in the center.

Another interesting announcement was the Flex Gaming concept – a foldable portable console. Despite the bright design, at first glance it looks familiar, but its body folds in half, and the sticks are neatly hidden in special recesses, which makes the device more compact.

Samsung has not yet disclosed plans for the serial production of these devices, but the presented technologies may find application in the company’s future commercial products.
