Rockstar Adds Video Games Deluxe, Developers of L.A. Noire

The studio continues to expand its team: recently, it was joined by the Australian company Video Games Deluxe, which became famous for its work on the re-release of L.A. Noire for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles, as well as the VR version of the project – L.A. Noire: The VR Case Files.

The Video Games Deluxe team consists of former employees of Team Bondi, the studio that released the original noir detective in 2011. Later, the authors also participated in the release of patches for GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition, but had nothing to do with the creation of the unsuccessful remaster – they only helped fix errors.

After the merger, the studio was renamed Rockstar Australia. It is not yet clear what exactly the new branch of the company will do, but there are suggestions that the team will support GTA Online or work on future Rockstar projects.
