Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake to Be Released Before Spring 2026 — Project Survives Reboot
- AYG -Ubisoft has officially confirmed that the remake of the famous game will reach players before the end of the current financial year, that is, before March 31, 2026. The title, which was originally presented back in 2020, has undergone many changes: its release was first postponed, and then completely restarted, changing the main development team.
At the moment, Ubisoft Montreal is responsible for creating a reimagined version of the cult adventure action game. It is supported by studios in Toronto, Bucharest, Paris and Pune. According to media reports, in 2025, the publisher will focus on more compact projects, including the multiplayer Assassin’s Creed Invictus, a remake of Black Flag and another game in the Rainbow Six universe with the working title Slice and Dice.

Also in the summer of 2024, Ubisoft representatives announced that a prototype of the remake already exists, and also revealed the first details of the future release. Despite the stated deadline, it is possible that the game will be released earlier – for example, in the second half of 2025. The company previously noted that it was postponing some key releases to ensure that they were of decent technical and content quality.
