PetPhone Introduced – The World’s First Smartphone for Pets

At the MWC 2024 exhibition, the Chinese company uCloudlink, specializing in wireless technologies, presented an unusual new product — PetPhone, a gadget designed to help owners communicate with their pets.

The device is attached to the pet’s neck and is equipped with an AI system that monitors its activity and health. It also supports six satellite technologies, which ensures accurate location. The manufacturer claims that PetPhone is able to activate a communication session after a certain gesture or movement of the animal, but the details of this mechanism have not yet been disclosed.

The release date and cost of the gadget remain unknown. In addition to PetPhone, uCloudlink showed another new product — the MeowGo G50 Max mobile hotspot with HyperConn support. It automatically switches between Wi-Fi, 4G, 5G and satellite Internet, providing a stable connection in any situation.
