Owlcat Games Announces Isometric RPG Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy

At the recent Warhammer Skulls Showcase 2025 event, Owlcat Games, the studio best known for Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, presented its next project — the isometric party RPG Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy. The title will offer gamers the chance to immerse themselves in the dark atmosphere of the Warhammer 40K universe, taking on the guise of Inquisition agents fighting heresy in a distant galaxy.

The game will feature a detailed detective component — users will have to collect evidence, interrogate witnesses, and make complex political decisions that affect the course of events. The combat mechanics combine turn-based tactical battles with squad morale management, which adds another level of strategic planning.

Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy will be available on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series, but the developers have not yet revealed the exact release dates. The title continues Owlcat Games’ successful RPG series in the Warhammer 40K universe, promising fans of the genre a new take on the dark sci-fi setting.
