Original Red Dead Redemption for PC Gets First-Person View Thanks to Modder

User HanaShirokuma has released a modification for the original Red Dead Redemption that adds a first-person view. This work was his debut, so the author warns about possible bugs, especially noticeable when controlling a horse.

The PC version of Red Dead Redemption was released on October 29, 2024. It includes Russian subtitles and the Undead Nightmare add-on. Players rated the port positively – on Steam, more than 93% of 4.4 thousand reviews were positive.

A modification called First Person Redemption is available for download on the Nexus Mods platform. The creator also recommends installing the additional ClipTweaks – FPS-DOF-FOV mod, which improves the field of view for more comfortable gameplay.
