Official images of Sony Xperia 1 VII appeared online before the announcement

The Sony Xperia 1 VII smartphone, which has not yet been presented by the company, has been certified by the Chinese regulator NCC, where its first official images were published. The photo shows that the device will retain the recognizable design of the Xperia line with flat edges of the case, a matte back panel and a signature block of triple cameras arranged vertically. At least two color options will be available – black and purple.

According to available data, the Xperia 1 VII camera will receive the same Exmor T sensors as the previous model: the main 48 MP, as well as 12-megapixel sensors with a telephoto lens and an ultra-wide-angle module. It is expected that the front panel will also remain without significant changes.

The exact date of the presentation of the Sony Xperia 1 VII has not yet been disclosed, but the certification of the device indicates an imminent announcement.
