New batch of GTA 6 rumors reveal gameplay and plot details

Insider GameRoll shared another portion of details about the upcoming Grand Theft Auto 6, causing lively discussions among fans of the series. According to his information, the game will return to the six-star wanted level, and a character weight system will appear, affecting his mobility and endurance. Players will be able to explore underwater locations in search of treasures, and the scene with Jason buying beer from the second trailer will turn out to be an element of the gameplay.

Character control will offer three modes: you can play exclusively for Jason or Lucia, or switch between them in the co-op mode, where the characters act together – for example, during robberies. Jason has an ability reminiscent of the “dead eye” from RDR 2, which slows down time and highlights the vulnerabilities of enemies. Lucia has a similar skill, less successfully implemented and has limitations.

The game world promises to be detailed: NPCs react to weapons in the user’s hands, and the driving mechanics have been improved. The damage system borrows elements from RDR 2, including blood and dismemberment. The weapon arsenal will be limited, but it can be kept in the trunk of the car.

The story campaign is divided into five chapters, and the map is an island without the Isthmus of Panama, including shopping centers and skyscrapers with working elevators. Among the secondary characters, Donnie is mentioned – an eccentric friend of Jason, working for a certain Brian.

However, some expected mechanics, according to the insider, are missing from the game: there are no explicit scenes, listening to music outside of vehicles, a prone position, firing with both hands “in Macedonian style”, a parody of Disney World and a mini-game “Hack”. However, the information remains unconfirmed, and the final details will become known only after the official announcement.
