Netflix is ​​preparing an animated series based on the mobile hit Clash of Clans

The streaming service announced the start of production of an animated adaptation of the famous mobile strategy Clash of Clans from the Finnish studio Supercell. The title, which is in the early stages of pre-production, will be the first large-scale adaptation of one of the most successful gaming brands in the history of mobile gaming.

Fletcher Mules, who became famous for his work on the trailers of the original strategy, is responsible for creating the series, and has taken the position of showrunner. The animation execution is entrusted to the Canadian studio ICON Creative Studio. Additional details about the project, including the expected release date and plot features, may be revealed as part of the upcoming Netflix Geeked Week event.

Clash of Clans, released in 2012, became a phenomenon of mobile gaming, bringing developers multi-billion dollar revenues and giving rise to a whole wave of imitations.
