Multiplayer mod in development for PC version of Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered

A group of enthusiasts announced the development of a multiplayer mod for Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered on PC. The expansion will be available for free and is already preparing to enter the closed beta testing stage.

The mod will allow up to 16 participants to unite in one lobby. At the initial stage, users will be able to explore the open world of the game with friends, and in the future it will be possible to complete story missions together. The developers are also considering the idea of ​​adding a PvP mode, but so far this remains at the discussion stage.

A special feature of the mod will be compatibility with other user add-ons. Players will be able to use third-party mods, such as new suits and improved animations, in the multiplayer version.

The project was launched in August 2024. Although the exact release date has not yet been announced, it is known that the modification can be downloaded via Steam and EGS. In addition, the authors are considering the possibility of adapting the modification for the PC version of the sequel to the superhero action game.
