Minecraft Will Get Graphics Update and Tamable Ghasts

Mojang will release a free Vibrant Visuals update, which will significantly improve the visuals in the sandbox. The authors will update the lighting, shadows, fog and water, while maintaining the signature visual style.

The update will initially be added to the Bedrock Edition, and then to the Java Edition. Users will have the option to switch between updated and traditional graphics at any time.

In addition to visual improvements, the creators will introduce the option to tame Ghasts. To make a mob friendly, it must be brought to the Surface and immersed in water. After taming, up to four gamers will be able to fly on the Ghast.

Mojang also assured that it does not intend to turn the sandbox into a free-to-play title, introduce a Battle Pass or micropayments. In addition, the studio will not develop Minecraft 2, focusing on the development of the original.
