Microsoft Releases Limited Edition Witcher-Themed Xbox Controllers

For the tenth anniversary of The Witcher III: Wild Hunt, Microsoft presented a special series of gamepads for Xbox, designed in the style of the iconic RPG. The devices are made in gray with an image of the School of the Wolf medallion and were developed in collaboration with CD Projekt RED.

The company offered two versions of the controllers: a standard version for $80 and a professional Xbox Elite Series 2 for $170. Both devices were presented in a special trailer on YouTube and completely sold out shortly after the announcement.

This release became a tribute to the game, which over the course of a decade has acquired the status of a classic of the genre. The limited series continues Microsoft’s tradition of creating exclusive controllers dedicated to iconic gaming franchises.
