Microsoft is preparing a collection of Gears of War remasters – it will be released on PC, Xbox and PS5

According to insider eXtas1s, Microsoft is preparing a collection of updated games in the Gears of War series, which may be announced this summer. Interestingly, the project will allegedly be released not only on PC and Xbox Series X/S, but also on PS5.

The collection is designed to fill the gap before the release of the new part of the franchise – Gears of War: E-Day. Which games will be included in the updated collection is still unknown, but most likely, we are talking about the first trilogy.

Meanwhile, Gears of War: E-Day, developed on Unreal Engine 5, is being created for PC and Xbox Series X/S. Recent rumors claimed that the release could take place this year, but the insider considers this scenario unlikely and predicts a release no earlier than 2026.
