Metro 2055, a post-apocalyptic open-world action game, is coming to Android

DV Survival Games has announced the action game Metro 2055, which will appear on Android in the second half of this year. The official page for the title is already available on the Google Play marketplace.

Despite the name, the project is not part of the Metro franchise from 4A Games. The story will take place in 2055 in the United States, 6 years after a global disaster that killed most of humanity. The survivors have taken refuge in tunnels and subway stations, where they are fighting for survival. The protagonist will be scout Jack Harper, who will have to protect the underground inhabitants from marauders, cannibals, and mutated creatures.

The developers promise a deep plot with non-linear forks, large-scale dungeon locations, interaction with various factions, confrontations with bosses, a trading and crafting system, as well as the option to create your own base. The first screenshots and gameplay videos have been posted online, demonstrating a top-down view, a dark atmosphere and survival elements.

The game is currently only announced for Android, with no information about an iOS version.
