Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 Has Arrived on PC, But It’s Not Off to a Great Start

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, another former PlayStation exclusive, has been released on PC. However, the game’s debut on the new platform was far from ideal. As with other Sony projects, there is no Denuvo protection, which allowed hackers to crack the game literally a few minutes after its release.

Additional difficulties arose due to regional restrictions: although Sony removed the mandatory link to PSN, the game is still unavailable in a number of countries. This forces players to look for workarounds or use pirated resources.

In addition, the port was far from successful. On Steam, the game’s rating at the time of publication of this article is only 54%, and the peak online at the start reached only 18 thousand users – a modest result for a project of this scale. Perhaps the situation will improve a little over the weekend, but for now the launch of the superhero action game can hardly be called successful.
