Marvel Rivals Reaches 10 Million Players in First Three Days of Release

The market for multiplayer action games and games-as-services has long been saturated: it is not easy to compete with such giants as Overwatch, Deadlock, Call of Duty and Fortnite. However, the recently released Marvel Rivals managed to attract a lot of attention.

The free-to-play action game from NetEase, based on the Marvel comics universe, was recently released. According to the developers, 10 million people tried the game in the first 72 hours since its launch.

Gamers’ interest in the new product is confirmed by statistics: according to SteamDB, 480,990 players launched the game simultaneously on Sunday. Marvel Rivals is available on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series platforms.
