Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra Delayed Until 2026 – Developers Need More Time
- AYG -The superhero action game being developed by Skydance Games with the support of publisher Plaion has been officially postponed to the start of 2026. Initially, the release was scheduled for the end of 2025, but the team decided to postpone the release in order to have time to properly polish the project and offer players the highest quality final product.

The game takes place in the gloomy atmosphere of occupied Paris during World War II. The plot centers on the confrontation between Captain America, Black Panther, soldier Gabriel Jones and resistance fighter Nanaly with the Hydra organization. Players will have to experience each of the heroes at different stages of history.

The project is being created on the Unreal Engine 5 and promises not only a rich plot, but also technologically advanced graphics. Despite the postponement, the developers promised to share new details about the game soon. It is not yet clear which platforms Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra will be released on, but preliminary expectations are that it will be released on at least PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Amy Hennig, the writer and creative director of the Uncharted series, is responsible for the development, which already raises high expectations among fans of the genre.
