Lenovo is preparing to release a budget tablet Tab K9 with support for fast charging

Information about the upcoming release of a budget device has appeared on the network, the main specifications and price of which were revealed by the Japanese telecom operator OCN.

The new product will be equipped with an 8.7-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 1340 × 800 pixels, a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of permanent memory. The device will run on the Android 14 platform.

A 5100 mAh battery with support for 50 W wired charging is responsible for autonomy, which will ensure quick charge recovery. The main camera will receive a resolution of 8 MP, while the front camera will have a resolution of 2 MP. In addition, the device will be equipped with stereo speakers, a microphone, a slot for microSD memory cards, and Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.3 and a USB 2.0 Type-C port are provided for connection.

The dimensions of the gadget will be 211 × 125 × 9 mm and weigh 320 g. The expected price of the device is about $190, which makes it an attractive option in the affordable tablet segment.
